Introduction

Our story begins with the boy. The boy who dreams of the mountains, though he is still too young to leave his yard, and the watchful eye of his mother. The boy who spends hours gazing at the sky, watching, waiting, knowing. Not just a boy, but the boy. The boy who's life is about to change forever.

The boy is in his backyard, and that yard is on the edge of the valley, below the towering black mountains, with their jagged caps of white. He is up to the usual mischief of boys, climbing his tree, hammering yet another board to it's widespread branches.
